Change is gonna come. It’s inevitable. Changes come without our asking, things happen that were not in the original plan.

Seasons that seem uneventful can be jolted into a challenging change and catch you unprepared. But the promise of a new season… is just ahead.

Families, seasons, life situations all bring about change. It is wise not to compare yourself or your family to another. We often only see the surface of each other and are quick to draw conclusions.

The greatest test of changes seems to come within our own family circle, our different personalities, life choices and levels of maturity play a big part. When we feel fragmented by change, we all need a promise of a new season.

I can only begin with myself, allowing change first to take place in my own heart . Extending grace instead of judgments. Laying down defenses  exchanged with humility and allowing God to live in and through me more authentically.

We can get bitter or we can get better. Even babies don’t like to be changed. “Weeping may endure for a night, but joy cometh in the morning.” Psalm 30:5
